The Purple Sack Laptop Bag

Bag of the Week: Laptop Bag by Purple Sack

I’m feeling two things right now – opulent and ready to join back office. Yes, my leave is coming to a close and my full-time job beckons. Hence, this week, I feature a laptop bag by The Purple Sack, which per me, goes perfectly well with this Ikat formal suit by Label Ritu Kumar. As I mentioned opulence, I pick some designer items for the accessories of this week’s look, but none that cannot be afforded. Okay, it may be a bit of a stretch on the pocket but then what are special occasions for?!

The Purple Sack, Ritu Kumar, Esprit, Aldo

Bag: The Purple Sack at Anonymous Co., INR 3,175
Jacket: Label Ritu Kumar, INR 4,900
Pants: Label Ritu Kumar, INR 4,900
Stilettos: Aldo at Jabong, INR 6,900
Earrings: Manish Arora for Amrapali at PerniasPopUpShop, INR 5,600
Watch: Esprit at Jabong, INR 6,396

Style Tips: If the same print jacket and pants are too much for you, you can retain only one and choose a completely different piece of the other. For example, you can retain the jacket and choose good ol’ black trousers. Black eyeliner would be best suited for this formal look. There are a host of orange lipsticks available in the market but I would pick MAC Chilli as the perfect match for the jacket/trousers. As for the jewelry, keep them delicate rather than bold.

About Vidya Gupta

Mother to three lovely boys and wife of a banking professional, I am extremely passionate about a host of topics, bags being one of them. For the record, the others are - makeup, travel, photography, in no particular order. Here I share my perspective on the Indian as well as the international bag-scene. As a youngster I would spend most of my money on bags and carry one according to my outfit. It is this love that I express through this blog. Needless to say, any suggestions for improvement, even healthy criticisms, are highly encouraged. Hope you enjoy your stay here and find something useful to help you on your next bag purchase!
