A-Bag-a-Day #16 Baggit L Hula Outer Lavender

Baggit L Hula Outer Lavender

Radiant Orchid was the color of the year for 2014 by Pantone. But you can still buy this beauty this year. The Baggit L Hula Outer Lavender is a compact bag that scores both for its looks and heavy duty function. It has two short top handles as well as an adjustable cross-body strap. So there are multiple ways you can carry it. The color is a rich, saturated purple that can enliven any outfit. This is an investment that will last for a long, long time.

Vital Statistics

  • Size: 39cm X 23cm X 13cm
  • Shape: Trapezium
  • Color: Bright Purple
  • Number of Pockets: 6 (including the mobile pouch)
  • Strap Length: 10cm for top handles, 60cm for the adjustable cross-body at its longest.
  • Cross-body Strap: Yes (which is also adjustable. There are top handles as well.)
  • Price: INR 3,050

Highlights

  • For a change, I do not have complaints against the rolled top handles, for the reason that they are not meant to be carried on the shoulder! 🙂 For that you have the adjustable cross-body strap which is flat!
  • It is neither bulky nor too small; just the right size that will carry all essentials and more for a casual occasion.
  • The color is one of its winning strengths. I mean just a look at the bag can brighten a gloomy day!
  • There is a more neutral color this bag is available in – brown.

Lowlights

  • Honestly, can’t think of any, but perhaps the price is a li’l too steep for a bag of this size? Look at the Gloria Grace Black and its size, which costs all of INR 2,150.

Mother to three lovely boys and wife of a banking professional, I am extremely passionate about a host of topics, bags being one of them. For the record, the others are - makeup, travel, photography, in no particular order. Here I share my perspective on the Indian as well as the international bag-scene. As a youngster I would spend most of my money on bags and carry one according to my outfit. It is this love that I express through this blog. Needless to say, any suggestions for improvement, even healthy criticisms, are highly encouraged. Hope you enjoy your stay here and find something useful to help you on your next bag purchase!
