Bag of the Week

Bag of the Week – In Marsala, Pantone Color of the Year 2015

The Leather Boutique Bag

Pantone just announced the color of the year for 2015 – Marsala. Described as “a naturally robust and earthy wine red“, Marsala is a brown color with wine undertones. It is also a perfect fall color and this week’s look has been curated with both these themes in mind. I found the perfect bag and coat at The Leather Boutique from their Fall/Winter ’14 collection. The watch is Daniel Klein at Myntra, earrings from Limeroad, while the boots and shirt are from Jabong. Hope you like it! Links to individual items are given at the end.

Marsala Look

Style tips: Marsala is a versatile color and can be combined with deep wine shades, brown and of course, the universal black. Other accessories such as jewellery can be kept to a minimum and in gold tones. A subtle brown smokey eye would do wonders to the overall look.

Vidya Gupta

Mother to three lovely boys and wife of a banking professional, I am extremely passionate about a host of topics, bags being one of them. For the record, the others are - makeup, travel, photography, in no particular order. Here I share my perspective on the Indian as well as the international bag-scene. As a youngster I would spend most of my money on bags and carry one according to my outfit. It is this love that I express through this blog. Needless to say, any suggestions for improvement, even healthy criticisms, are highly encouraged. Hope you enjoy your stay here and find something useful to help you on your next bag purchase!
