The start of the year is lined up with award ceremonies giving fashion watchers enough fodder to last a long time. Here’s a short recap of the year gone so far.
Priyanka Chopra was a sight in Armani Prive gown at the Filmfare Awards early this year. While one hand clutched a Jimmy Choo, the fore finger of the other hand was adorned with a statement ring. Her make-up looks flawless, by the way, though the black nail polish doesn’t really appeal to me.

At the premier of Shootout at Wadala, Sonam Kapoor had a large Louis Vuitton tote. While the bag and outfit are great by themselves, I thought they didn’t go well together – both being sober colors. Sonam doesn’t quite look the celebrity she is.

Neha Dhupia chooses her trusted Bottega Veneta clutch again at the L’Oreal Femina Women Awards 2013. The outfit and the clutch are well co-ordinated. With the heavy work on the neckline, she has aptly kept the rest of the accessories to a minimum.

Raageshwari was one of favorite singers. Her smile is just so radiant and contagious. I just had to pick this one from the Stardust Awards this year where she is seen with a Louis Vuitton clutch. On a personal note, I admire the way she fought facial paralysis and bounced back to life.
