Out-of-the-box thinking can yield very interesting results sometimes. And when style meets utility, for me, there is a winner at hand.
At Ekta Kapoor’s Bollywood Iftar party, Maria Goretti was spotted with this bracelet bag:
I think it is just perfect to carry essentials such as a phone, a few cards and money. The way it stays at the wrist means you have a hands-free experience while still allowing quick access to contents. There could be endless ethnic and contemporary patterns created on the bag’s exterior depending on the material used.
Like this mink fur bracelet bag from Tom Ford:
I think it is a perfect winter accessory. The bracelet here is more dramatic than the one carried by Maria and infinitely more classy. I think it steals the limelight from the bag – love the intricate design at the ends and the small hinge given for easily slippage onto and out of the wrist. But as one may guess, mink fur is rather expensive and makes the Tom Ford Bracelet Bag cost $3480! That’s more than what a decent sized Louis Vuitton would cost.
Though I didn’t find a great variety of this kind on Indian bag sites, I am sure there would be takers for its simple design.
What are your thoughts on the bracelet bag?
