Prada started a campaign to showcase its Fall/Winter 2013 collection for women. While the ad by itself is superbly conceived, I turned my focus on the bags the models seemed to romance. I loved these bowler bags, especially the chequered one, that has both a pop of color as well as one that’s toned down – making it an ideal accessory for a number of occasions. Appears to be rather spacious as well.
Again, the green one below seems to be an ideal clutch, with the right amount of color and space.
The same green clutch, now appearing with an envious red shoulder bag:
Another red bag follows, though appears to be smaller than the one above (the fur coat is rather an attention-grabber):
A different class of color follows with this leopard print bowler bag and brown-textured clutch (just LOVE the teal colored coat):

Indian consumers will have to wait a little longer though, as Prada still does not have a retail presence in India. Talks have been going on for a while now, and lack of real estate is touted to be a compelling reason for the delay. As for regulatory provisions, India allows 100% FDI in single brand retail and 51% in multi-brand.
Hoping for a quick entry of Prada into Indian markets, given the steep growth expected in the Indian luxury goods segment in the next 5 years!
