Off late, I have seen the camo print on quite a few bags and that has prompted me to come up with this compilation. I am not a fan of this print, as I think it does not go too well with everyday dressing, but for those special occasions, a bag of this print might be all you need to get noticed! Check out these bags from different houses below.

3.1 Phillip Lim 31 Hour Camouflage Bag

This is my favourite of the lot. I love it for its sleek design and the fold-over flap. It comes with a two-way zipper closure. Again, I am not comfortable with the rolled-leather handles, but since this is meant to be carried in the crook of the elbow, it wouldn’t post much of a problem. There are other variations of the camo design. This costs $595.

This one comes a close second, especially for the calf-hair. It gives a remarkably fine and elegant look. This too comes with rolled-leather handles, but well, am ready to overlook it, for the sheer masterpiece that the rest of the bag is! The golden hardware goes perfectly with the olive-toned camo print. The Miranda tote will set you back by a good $1,695.

Valentino Rockstud Denim Camouflage Tote

Valentino has combined its distinguished rockstud design with the camouflage to create this unique looking tote. The denim canvas makes it a blue-toned camo, which is rather soft and pleasing to look at. The shorter handles are rolled-leather, whereas the shoulder strap is flat and studded. This is the most expensive of the lot at $1,995.

Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage – by Takashi Marukami and Marc Jacobs

Though the above bags are part of the Fall 2013 collection, the LV Monogramouflage has been around for some time. I had to include it here for the classic Speedy and the camo combination. It clearly indicates that the camo trend has been reinvented off late by some bag makers. The Monogramouflage is a creation of Marc Jacobs in collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. My only thought is that black leather trims would have given a more chic look than the beige ones. The above Speedy 35 would cost $1,530.

How do you like the camo prints?
