Jute Bag

Jute is one of the most versatile fabric that is also sturdy. It is a natural fiber, that incidentally requires minimal pesticides, and is next to cotton in terms of production. Owing to its abundant production, little or no fertilizer/pesticide requirement, jute is very affordable. This fiber is produced from the stem of the ‘jute’ plant. It is eco-friendly as, being a vegetable fiber, it is completely bio-degradable. The strength of the fiber also lends to its durability factor.

Coming to bags, they have a very rustic appeal with the smell also reminding one of something very natural. Of course, as it is essentially a fiber, it is not water resistant and as such should be kept away from moisture.

This bag was a gift from my sister-in-law even before I had got married. I love it for the lovely lavender color and its perfect size. 8 times out of 10, this bag is my shopping companion. It helps that the bag is strong and doesn’t buckle under all my shopping hauls.
It is a cute little bag that I am proud to own!

Mother to three lovely boys and wife of a banking professional, I am extremely passionate about a host of topics, bags being one of them. For the record, the others are - makeup, travel, photography, in no particular order. Here I share my perspective on the Indian as well as the international bag-scene. As a youngster I would spend most of my money on bags and carry one according to my outfit. It is this love that I express through this blog. Needless to say, any suggestions for improvement, even healthy criticisms, are highly encouraged. Hope you enjoy your stay here and find something useful to help you on your next bag purchase!
