Trust LV to make the most flamboyant and innovative entries into new regions/markets. For its flagship store inauguration in Wuhan, China, as well as to mark the 100th anniversary of its Savoir-Faire collection, Louis Vuitton created a miniature zoo with replicas of animals using dozens of LV bags. Isn’t this eye candy for kids and bag aficionados alike?
This panda is my favourite among all the animals – I think the shape has come out perfectly and it looks rather real. Apparently, a total of 74 LV bags were used to construct this.
This lizard is made from LV belts and the colors make it look so much like a chameleon.
There are 23 such amazing visualizations of animals. The designer accredited with this creative display of otherwise completely unrelated products, such as the handbags, is the British artist, Billie Achilleos. This display is part of a bigger agenda called the Travelling Curiosities Exhibition that is travelling the world over. The stop-over in China was in May this year.
