My Bag Arrives from Toteteca!

A few days back, as part of my handbag adventures on the Internet, I stumbled upon this site called toteteca.com. I even had a preliminary review on it here. That very day I started designing my bag online with them. Then, 4 days ago, I was pleased with my work and placed an order.

They took 2 days for making the bag per my design and another 2 to deliver it. If you think that’s not cool enough, wait till you check out the pictures of my bag!

Here is the front view; the long body of the bag folds over to create a flap. The leather used is high quality faux leather.

It has a sling to carry it cross-body, which is detachable. The hardware is impeccable.

There are two outside zips, one under the flap…

The one at the back is deeper than the one under the flap – but I am sure this is a design aspect. If you mention it during design, they would make the depth accordingly. Another point which I missed during the design, was asking for an inner mobile pouch, that is almost a standard in most bags these days.

Coming to the inside, originally the bag had only one main compartment and an inner zipper. But I customized it and got the main compartment divided into two, using another zippered compartment in the middle.

The company representative was constantly in touch with me from the moment I placed the order and even came up with suggestions to improvise on the design. They even sent a cloth cover to store the bag in. Most of the designs on their site cost less than INR 2000. They keep adding to their templates thus providing the customer with more choices. It was a pleasant and hassle-free experience through and through.

Do head over to their site to discover the joy of building your own bag!
