The Red Never Follows campaign heralds the 20th anniversary of Hugo Boss in style, in addition to being an ode to creativity. The campaign will feature 20 fashion objects by the crème-de-la-crème of the global fashion industry. One among them is this handbag, which according to me is truly a classic. There are some things that never go out of style, do they?
An inside view follows; I love the wide opening and the two pouches inside, that seem sturdy enough to retain their shape even when not holding any contents. There is a wide inner zippered pocket and another smaller mobile-holder pouch. It appears spacious indeed with vital stats of 33 X 22 X 17 cm.
The material used is calfskin leather. This classic is named Lucrece after a mythical woman from Roman legend.
To own this iconic piece, head straight to the Hugo Boss website and it could be yours for all of £500.
Incidentally, I can’t help but recollect another campaign going on in parallel, though to mark a different kind of occasion – the Handbag Narratives by Harrods. Though the Narratives focuses purely on handbags, the one by Hugo Boss focuses on fashion in general.
