When I had been to the mall last weekend, I was so excited about the sale on all handbag brands – with some of them offering discounts to the tune of 60% – I was sure I was taking a bag home that day. Finally I settled for this one from Lavie.
The main points in favour of this bag were:
• It is a spacious bag – extremely spacious. The flexible frame of the hobo allows for additional space, where other bags could be limited by their strictly defined boundaries.
• There are many sections – 8 to be precise, including the inner zip and the mobile pouch. However, I would have liked if the wide pouch on the front had been sub-divided into additional functional sections – like a pen holder, card holder, and other such partitions.
• It is black – a universal color that would go with any outfit. The color also makes it an acceptable accessory at the workplace.
• The handles of the bag are rather soft. I tried some other bags whose handles were made of stiff material that hurt the shoulder (the discomfort would be more when the bag actually carries some real weight) and also made it easier for them to slide off the shoulder. This Lavie one scored on both these points.
The funny part is, I went there lured by the hefty sale and ended up buying this one which did not have any discount! That’s the extent to which I fell in love with this bag! Definitely recommended.
