Yesterday I had been to the mall to check out the Hidesign sale but I was in for a pleasant surprise – almost all the brands had a sale going on, including Baggit, Caprese, Lavie and Fossil. Now, I am an ardent fan of Fossil products – I think the wonderful quality simply shines through their products. I am a proud owner of a Fossil watch, and from my onsite assignment in Germany, brought back Fossil watches for my family. When I saw their handbags on sale, I had to spend some time there!
I checked out the following two bags from their Marlow bags range, both of which can be worn as crossbody bags.
For one, I love the color. Then is the soft-glazed leather and of course, the crossbody provision for a hands-free-experience lover like me. There are a few other colors to choose from as well.
The next one is with a flap having a twist-lock. Space-wise both are equally good, though my preference is this one:
However, I did not really understand the concept of the key-hole as a common theme in many of their bags. In fact, though they are not visible in these pictures, the ones at the mall also had a normal-length key as a dangler. Add to it the metal name plate and the rest of the hardware – you have a heavy handbag! This was the case with most of the Fossil bags I tried there. And that is truly a downside according to me. I prefer my bags to be light yet strong to hold the weight inside. But for those of you ready to overlook this con, Fossil offers plenty of variety!
