It is almost customary for me to pick a bag from whichever place I visit. Keeping up with this tradition, on a work related trip to Germany, I chose this one from Picard. The best thing about sling bags is that they give you a hands-free experience at the same time are very trendy to sport. The hands-free part is a boon when you have a baby/toddler to carry around. Comfort-wise my preference is a sling bag anyday – and when it is has as many sections as this Picard one does, it is a winner hands-down.
The texture is somewhat cloth-like and very resilient to accumulating dirt, which is an important quality when you consider its light color and the tropical Indian conditions. I like the side zip that has a good depth. It is handy for items needing quick retrieval, as the flap does not need to be lifted to access this section.
Inside, it has 2 sections, one smaller than the other. The bigger one has an inner small zipper along with a mobile pouch:
At the back is also a traditional zip with a good spacious section:
The bag also has a broad length-adjustable strap that adds to the comfort of the shoulder. I have not had the chance to pick a Picard bag in India – in fact, I’m not sure if they are even available here.
