A-Bag-a-Day #15 Baggit L Gloria Grace Black

Baggit L Gloria Grace Black

Baggit never fails to surprise. Amidst the cruelty free materials their bags are made of, I found this large fabric bag in black and fifty shades of grey. Not to miss those silver lines! The L Gloria Grace Black has a central opening that folds over a tiny little bit. The central compartment is quite long, apt to fit in long college books and registers or folders. I think those silver lines take the look of the bag to another level altogether. It’s amazing how little things can make such a world of difference. The other difference this bag has made is that it gave me enough confidence to appear in front of the camera rather than stay on the other side. No, seriously. I am a camera shy person but when I tried this over my jumpsuit in similar color combination, I was tempted to have myself clicked that way. And I am so pleased with the outcome that I want to do more of this in coming days. We’ll see how that progresses, but for now, check out this beauty in more detail!

Vital Statistics

  • Size: 36cm (with flap folded, 56 cm when open) X 35cm X 12cm
  • Shape: Square (with the flap folded)
  • Color: Black & Grey
  • Number of Pockets: 5 (including the mobile pouch)
  • Strap Length: 30cm at its shortest and 64cm at its longest
  • Cross-body Strap: Yes (a single strap that has adjustable length)
  • Price: INR 2,150

Highlights

  • A big, spacious bag that will suit college as well as casual occasions.
  • The colors and the fabric get a double thumbs up.
  • Flat handles.

Lowlights

  • Not exactly a negative, but I would like to see a smaller, petite bag in the same fabric and hues.
  • Fabric makes the bag prone to getting wet easily, hence not an ideal partner during the monsoons (though the inner lining does seem water resistant and contents might withstand mild showers).

Vidya Gupta

Mother to three lovely boys and wife of a banking professional, I am extremely passionate about a host of topics, bags being one of them. For the record, the others are - makeup, travel, photography, in no particular order. Here I share my perspective on the Indian as well as the international bag-scene. As a youngster I would spend most of my money on bags and carry one according to my outfit. It is this love that I express through this blog. Needless to say, any suggestions for improvement, even healthy criticisms, are highly encouraged. Hope you enjoy your stay here and find something useful to help you on your next bag purchase!
