LimeRoad has recently had a strong presence in the Indian e-commerce space. I have been following the products on their site for a long time now and I am really impressed by the length and breadth of the items in there. They have the whole gamut of categories covered – from beauty, apparel, accessories, home décor, kitchen etc. Coming to my core interest, bags, they have over 1000 handbags to choose from! When I was browsing through this collection, there was never a dull moment; rows and rows of bright, colourful, functional bags in multiple textures and materials! I was thoroughly enthralled! An excellent feature I found with them is the creation of looks by readers. All items of the looks are from the site itself. Many a times, I have bought accessories and they have lurched in my drawers for months together, as I really didn’t have the time to pair it appropriately with my outfit. In such situations, these lookbooks come in very handy. Also, sometimes an item by itself may not appeal to the viewer. But the same item when shown in a complete look appears spectacular and leaves a lasting impression. A small example: I would have never bought the orange neckpiece in the picture below by itself, but when viewed as part of the complete look, it is stunning!
